OPERATION SUPPORT
The efficient professional operation of a transport company requires a number of professional software systems. New Line supports all processes of a transport company in a single system, with all the necessary applications, whether it is a local, regional or national service area.
During operation support, the PTSS software system offers an ideal solution for transport companies. While some elements of the PTSS product line are integrated with each other, they can also operate autonomously. The background of the software family is a unified database structure, harmonised operation and common interface system.
Centralized Operation Support
Scheduling and Network Planning
Transportation services can be efficiently planned at service and route level with our timetable and network planning software.

The software can create a basic service network (with stops and routes) in different versions, but our system is also capable of planning demand-driven services. Timetables are built based on service-level breakdowns, making it easy to plan and compile turns.

In addition to taking into account various basic parameters (e.g., vehicle types, time of day, time zones, garages), bus, tram and trolley services can also be managed.
Operation Support
Managing activities related to the everyday operation of the company's transport activities is essential.

Resource management is one of the most important activities in this area, including the development and management of command and control, accounting of performance and handling of journey forms. This includes various forms of employment, examinations and licences for persons and vehicles.

An important function of the system is the management of various records, instructions, disciplinary matters, accidents or complaints, as well as the management of reports and restrictions.
Traffic Management and Dispatching Activities
Inside the headquarters of the transport company, the daily work is determined by the tasks related to the daily movements of the vehicle fleet and the dispatcher work. Therefore, support for this is of outstanding importance.

The purpose of the program is to display and manage real-time service, vehicle and driver activity data for traffic control staff, and to enable real interventions to be taken.

Within this task, the monitoring and intervention functions are supported by overview interfaces, schematic diagrams and different views (e.g., vehicle, driver, route).
Managing Passenger Information Activities
The management of passenger information on different platforms (print, web, mobile, station, stop, on board, audio) is critical for any transport company.

Not only it is mportant to create and manage messages for different platforms, it is also important to manage the various devices, infrastructures and platforms involved, and to implement statuses and monitoring functions.

These tasks need to be implemented by organisation, function, role, so that they can be harmonised with different authorisation levels.
Support of Financial Operations
The support of financial transaction is most closely linked to the various payment solutions and transactions performed on board, at the cash desk or at various type of ticket vending machines.

Sales information coming from the on-board units (OBU) with ticketing functions can be also found here and it is possible to adjust parameters in ticketing and perform software maintenance and upgrades.

Via the interfaces of the financial module connections are available to autonomous or semi-autonomous payment systems and corporate ERP for different payment methods.
Vehicle Operation Support
Active communication with vehicles is critical for both job management and traffic information, and also communication with the driver and the vehicle is essential for efficient operation.

The On-board Unit (OBU) is the core of vehicle operation. This unit provides vehicle position information to the centre, this provides the driver with the daily task, and is used while performing daily tasks, controlling the on-board equipment and functions.

The firmware software developed for the OBU can integrate all of this, including the on-site support and administrative management of dispatcher and inspector work, in addition to drivers.
Contractor and Financer Operation Support
Transport service providers in Hungary mostly perform their work on the basis of a contractor's or financer's request, which makes it increasingly important to measure the fulfilment of the agreed service levels.

The fulfilment of service parameters can be tracked through the Service Level Agreement (SLA) module. Measurements can include e.g. kilometres travelled, percentage, or absolute value of delays and missed services. Achieved service and line measurements can be aggregated and assessed through reports.

The SLA module has a provider and customer side design, which has a level of detail appropriate to the different roles. On the customer side, we are also able to support a multi-service environment.
